30 years from NOW

Thirty years from now the world will not have changed as much as most expect. I believe that we will make leaps and bounds in the technological world but will there be teleportation devices or robots in every household? I think not. The United States will fall farther from glory in another 30 years, China will take over as the dominate world power and with that will come the most important changes. Some of the realistic changes worldwide i believe will come in the health and fitness industry. Fat loss pills will be affordable and available to most and unlike steriods i think a healthier alternative may be made available to help pack on muscle. Cancer will still be a problem but treatment will be cheaper and more successful. The Aids epidemic will come to halt as a cure will be found and spread worldwide. A few technological improvements in automobiles may make driving safer, faster, and more eco friendly but where the alternative fuel will come from im not sure. I think household improvements to expect 30 years from now can include touch systems and voice activated controls. But no one can ever say whats to happen in the future for that decision is not made today but yesterday.

The Skunk Ape Tutorial

I found this tutorial to be very helpful and interesting. Most of the information i learned from the tutorial i had not known about previously. I believe this should be mandatory for all incoming freshman to see, like most people i had no idea the amount of information the library datebase held. Most of my information used for essays is found on the first page of google. While this method is convenient the information may not always be from a legitimate source or even factual to begin with. The database has much more information then i could have imagined and before the tutorial it seemed like a complex maze. Although students dont normally cheat, the tutorial spent too much time covering plagiarism. Overall the tutorial was a great addition to my English composition two class and made for an interesting few minutes.
